The great tree was always a wonderful place for Gylfi. Being the biggest tree, it was obvious that the pixie was going to have to explore it. He always liked being at the top of the tree, and since this was the biggest one he needed to see how the top was. And he had to admit, it was a lovely sight. He could see almost everything from the top--the lake, the school grounds, the forest, and if he looked close enough, the gypsy camp. Yes, this was a really lovely spot. Settling himself down on one of the long branches, he smiled, letting his wings just fall daintly at his side. They did get tired a bit easily, since the climb up wasn't all that easy itself. It was a big tree, so a big amount of energy was needed.
Tiny things need a lot of power.
But they were relaxed now, so that meant that Gylfi could be relaxed. Thank goodness. Just watching everything from this angle was very nice, very peaceful. However, that wasn't lasting for long. He suddenly heard a noise from somewhere around him, and he quickly glanced to his sides to see who or what made that noise.
"Fancy seeing you here. You always picked the highest part of the tree."
Gelsey.
Gylfi tilted his head upwards, getting a wonderful view of his darling sister who was only inches away from him, just floating there. Her wings were moving back and forth, back and forth, looking very effortless and almost standing on air. Gelsey always had a sort of effortless look about her, always just looked... simple. Elegant. Clean. Easy to talk to.
Deadly.
What a terrible combination.
"What are you doing here, Gelsey?" the male pixie asked, looking back out to the lake.
She still floated above him, and chuckled just slightly. "You can't guess? C'mon, really Gylfi? I'm your twin, you should figure this out by now. I usually only come to the human realm now for one reason only. Can you guess it?"
Blink.
Pause.
What?
"Hey, wai--" Before he could even finish his sentence, there was only a slight sparkle where Gelsey was. It only took him a second to relocate her, flying back into the woods. Oh no, Gylfi was not going to let her get away, not again. Not ever. "Gelsey! Get back here!" With that, he immediately started to follow after her, flying just as fast as she was. Gelsey always knew how to easily glide through the trees, as well as Gylfi. However, the female twin was a bit better at it, flying in loops and twirls just trying to avoid him. Neither really cared if someone else saw, all they probably would see was little sparkles floating in the air briefly. Nothing too suspicious.
Their flight took back to the giant tree, both of them flying around it for what seemed like ages. Gylfi could tell that Gelsey was getting tired, and was starting to slow done. Slightly smiling with almost achieved victory, he sped up just a bit in hopes of catching her. Maybe he would, and how great that'd be! One less enemy to deal with, and it would've been so easy like--
BAM!
Gylfi barely realized that he had crashed, he couldn't see where he was going! So this was the plan all along, damn her. He was too preoccupied with actually following her that he didn't see where he was going--right into the tree. His vision faded in and out, black to reality as he started to fall the tiny decent from where he was on the tree to the ground. He could hear Gelsey laughing, and he groaned. He tried to get up but that only led to more pain in his already aching head. Gylfi sighed, just putting his head back onto the soft grass. He'd get up again to chase her, and he'd definitely catch her. Soon. Eventually. Five more minutes of lying down.
Maybe.
ooc;; don't be scared by the size--it really sucks. xD
