Great Oak Tree

The 'Great Oak Tree' happens to be the largest tree in the whole wood, and rests just on the edge of it. It's branches stretch out over the soft, tall green grass. It is a lovely place for picnics with teachers, when permitted.
It is just one place that the girls have come with boys and carved their initials into the tree with a heart around it.
The letters fade into the bark, and are to never be seen by other people, as leaves cover the words and turn it into nothing but a memory in time.
