Name: Ayu (this is a lie, but we’ll go with that, shall we?)
Age: 15
Experience: Two long-term forum originals, one Livejournal original, a few Gaia Online fanbased RPs and a 1x1 that sort of went off track after a while. I also write short stories and have one several prizes for them.
How you found us: Ah. Unlike the rest of the board, apparently, not through Neopets. My twin sister is on here, using my computer. It looks fun. I hope that’s ok.
Role play Sample: ((Made about six months ago, and rather short, but I was quite happy with it.))
It was rather cold.
And ‘rather cold’ can here be taken to mean “abso-bloody-lutely freezing”. Snow covered the ground and turned the air opaque. Wind howled through the frozen branches of tall trees. Everywhere was blank, icy, deep cold.
And a figure.
He waded through the fast-falling snow, his black hair crusted with white. It took away all contrast, the snow as white as his skin. The only colour was red; a fading ruddiness in his cheeks, a glimpse of dark red as the shell of snow cracked with his movements and revealed the tunic beneath, scarlet dripping from his side to the snow.
It was looking increasingly likely that Ashii, demon lord and bringer of joy, would not last out the night. His powers were fading, his body weak.
Then, through the blizzard, he caught a glimmer of amber.
His grey eyes squinted to catch it again, peering out from under snow-encrusted lashes. Yes. Definitely firelight.
Using his last dregs of power and his strong legs to push aside the ever-deepening drifts, the tall, hunched figure struggled on, finally collapsing exhausted at the doors of the firelit cottage. With the pommel of his sword, he struck the wooden door twice.
There was no reply.
He leant against the stone walls and waited. It was inconcievable that a man as powerful as he could die like this. More than that, it was totally unacceptable. His leather-gloved hands clenched involuntarily into tight fists. He bit his pale lip. I don't want it to happen like this. I won't let it happen like this. IT WON'T HAPPEN LIKE THIS!
He gave a long wordless scream, calling out in anger and pain. Rising once more, unsteady, shaking, he picked up the fallen sword and beat as hard as he could on the door.
"LET! ME! IN!" Each word was accompanied by a crashing blow. The hilt slipped from his grasp again. He dropped to his knees.
"...let me in..."
