well, i've been needing to role play somewhere. this is open to anyone who wants to join in, or i can just role play by myself here. i just want to write about Luci and this has been a scene that's played in my mind a couple of times. i'm sorry if it isn't that great but i wrote it in segments which is never good for my writing.

From a distance, two figures could be seen walking through the bustling crowd of London. Everything seemed so big to the ten year old girl, she’d never walked these streets, always in a carriage of the sort. This though, was amazing. Her eyes held on the largely moving city trying to focus on every little detail as an infant does when brought to a new person.
Luci was enthralled by the setting around her, it held magic to it. Or so she believed. Being accompanied by an old lady who really had no longing to be in the dirty city had been chosen as Luci’s watch. The lady wore nothing but what seemed a fancy dress and a hat. Her stockings tight around her skinny legs, the lady was tiny that was a sure fact though she was carrying a face of dismay as though teaching brought no pleasure to her and there were a million places she rather be, which was more than likely true.
Luci wasn’t the type of girl people liked going out of their way for, but this was a different circumstance.
Not once since Luci had been living in this boarding school had she seen her parents, they spoke through mail though they never really had enough money to mail letters at a constant rate but rather long and drug out periods waiting for them to arrive. She had been pretty much abandoned by her family there, or so it seemed to the administrators of her school. Luci’s parents had very little money, of course she wouldn’t of had much contact from them but Luci was hoping for a better life a place where she can assist her parents in getting older and have a suitable family with a nice house not having to work for some old people as her parents were forced to however kind the people may be.
The older lady and Luci began to get within sight of their destination and Luci’s insides bursting with energy whatever appearance she had to maintain on the outside, she was enthused to see her parents for the first time in what seemed to be centuries.
Opening the grand doors to the train station the two stepped in pace the same rate though Luci nearly had to run to keep up, Luci in her nicest dress and the lady wearing the scowl as though it was the only facial expression she was capable of.
The woman’s eyes settled on a bench as she pulled Luci that was, sitting legs crossed. Luci unwillingly sat down looking at the train station eyes wide and shining with excitement. She was an eleven year old waiting for something she’d been hoping for since she moved away. It was the perfect Christmas gift in August though she wouldn’t be receiving another gift of the sort for quite some period of time. She may return for the summer though it was unlikely her parents would even have enough to keep her with them.
A train rolled in as Luci glanced at the unhappy lady once more, still in the same mood as before and her face seemed indifferent to the events going on around her. All the loud noise and chaos, and then a little girl glancing around looking for two people emerging from the train though this one proved not to carry the people she was waiting for.
A second train rolled by letting passengers off, Luci at the edge of the bench waiting for her parents to make their way off the loud machine though again there was no prevail, after many times of the same thing occurring over and over Luci began doubtful of her parent’s promises, she looked at the adult who was accompanying her, annoyed and disgruntled. They would never bring Luci out here again on false hopes of her parents emerging off the train and receiving their only
child.
After two hours of the long drawn out situation of Luci jumping in her seat every time a train arrived at the station her guardian finally gave up, “I’m not waiting her any longer!” she snapped at Luci. Already sad and scared her parents would never show up Luci wasn’t about to risk leaving this spot until her parents arrived. The lady stood up shaking her head briskly at the eleven year old, “Well, you can stay here as long as you’d please but there is no way I’m going to be suffering through it with you. If you get kicked out of the school it is not my loss.” She muttered walking away stiffly, annoyed with Luci’s ignorance to her parents cancelling on her; ruining the hope of a young girl.
For what seemed to be ages, Luci just sat there. After becoming squeamish to the lack of her parents she began to walk around yelling their names. Maybe, just maybe they didn’t recognize Luci when she was pampered as so, but they were her parents shouldn’t parents have recognized their own daughter?
Her search seemed helpless; nothing was working out the way Luci had planned this day. She expected a happy walk to the station with a nice teacher skipping along as she told stories about how she used to be around her parents, them sitting together here as her parents walked off the train bewildered by the largeness of the city only to find the most precious thing in their life, Luci. She would take them to lunch and have an intelligent conversation with them, then later that night she would watch them board the train and see them off. It was a good dream but it was just a child’s fantasy. Her parents were nowhere to be found.
She finally sat down on the bench once more, alone. She looked at the people departing the train longing for one of them to be her mother or father, to have the comfort of home with her at this very moment. Even the teacher would have been better than this loneliness. She curled her legs to her chest trying not to cry though it was becoming quite the difficulty as the salt filled water began to curl down her cheeks. Stupid parents, they weren’t coming and because of them Luci was here alone and scared.
