I'm a man of wealth and taste...
Appearance:
Blake stands at five feet nine inches, a height she is not at all happy about. Though she does not want to be short, she does want to be shorter, as she finds being her height can sometimes cause problems when finding a guy. For some reason she has always had it in her mind that the man has to be taller than the woman, and she lives by that rule, therefore it can often be annoying when a hot guy is her height or shorter. Perhaps because she does not eat much at meals, or that she has a fast metabolism, Blake is a little underweight, at one hundred and twenty five pounds. She has never worried about her weight, nor tried to change it in any way.
Blake has rich, medium brown hair, that falls to her mid-back. Ringlets on the curlier side of wavy make their way down past her shoulders, where her hair gets curlier. Long bangs often get in her eyes, though they are long enough to be tucked behind her ears, but she doesn't mind, as long as she can still see. Her eyes are narrow and almond shaped, set deep below thin eyebrows. Thick, deep black lashes contrast with her light, gray-blue irises.
Blake has a curvy figure- a fact she exploits when around boys- with a medium-sized chest, wide hips, and a round butt. Her legs are long and well toned, though that is difficult to tell when wearing long dresses or skirts.
Her skin is olive-toned and tans easily. Along with her skin tone comes her ability to resist the sun's harmful rays- she doesn't burn easily. Her face consists of both soft and sharp lines, such as she sharp look of her high cheekbones and the way they curve softly into a small nose. Her face is heart-shaped, and she has a square jaw and rounded chin. There is a small, almost unnoticeable cleft in her chin that Blake has always found somewhat annoying.
Personality:
Blake is extremely strong willed. When she knows what, or who, she wants, she does whatever is necessary to get it, including stepping on other people. Even if she has to do something completely idiotic or dangerous to achieve her goal, she will, and absolutely nothing can talk her out of it, not even her best friend, who's opinion she values most. Her best friend is the only person she would not step on to get what she wants, as she would never dream of hurting someone so close to her. However, even her bestie cannot talk her out of something once she's sure she wants it.
Within her group of friends, or to her family, Blake is very loyal, though it is extremely hard to earn her support and loyalty. A person has to prove they are a good friend who she can trust and rely on, or else she may waver slightly, and not feel bad about it at all. To those she deems fit to have her loyalty, she is an extremely good friend to have. If someone asks her to keep a secret, she won't tell a soul, even if people try to pressure her into spilling, and if she hears someone badmouthing one of her friends or family she won't hesitate to defend said person. Her loyalty will almost always waver if it gets in the way of something she wants, and she never feels bad after, only happy or content that she achieved her goal.
Blake procrastinates absolutely anything she doesn't want to do. From school work, to practicing dances, to cleaning her room, she will wait until the last minute to get it done, which usually results in messy and or incomplete work. Even though she knows it has to get done, she can't seem to force herself to do it when the task is boring.
Blake can be extremely hyper. She's not always this way, but when she's with her friends she can get pretty wild. She'll laugh really loud at nothing, joke, talk really fast, and jump around like a maniac. To her this is a good trait, she likes being the 'spaz', but to others it can be extremely annoying. People who aren't her friends are often meaner than those who are, making rude comments or laughing at her. When people make rude comments, but she ignores them, though it annoys her when her friends look at her like she's insane or tell her to calm down. It's part of who she is and people need to accept it.
Around new people, Blake is very outgoing. She has no problem going up to someone and introducing herself, or just intruding on other people's conversations. She loves being around people, so she's always trying to make new friends, though she can sometimes come off as mean or rude, often times making her more enemies than friends.
Waiting is one of Blake's major pet-peeves. 'Patience is a virtue' is not a phrase she chooses to live by, in fact, she is extremely impatient. Waiting even the shortest amount of time irritates her, and she is very outspoken about her irritation. Not only is she outspoken, she also has a habit of tapping her foot repeatedly, which often gets on other people's nerves.
It is extremely easy to annoy Blake. The slightest things will set her off, and it's difficult to tell what will bother her and when, as it often changes with her mood or state of mind. Once she is annoyed, almost everything will begin to annoy her, and if someone irritates her enough, she has been known to blow up in their face. She will yell angrily- often in hushed tones- at them, or even start a fist fight. Once she's in one of her 'rages', it is best to just leave her alone. Trying to comfort her will most likely end with her angry at you. It doesn't take long for her to cool off, as long as she is left alone with nothing more to agitate her.
Blake is beautiful, and she knows it. She in confidant in her beauty, and knows how to use it to her advantage, mostly when dealing with boys. It helps that she's pretty, as she is also extremely flirty. However, her looks have given her a sort of arrogance, and she is under the impression that no man can resist her. She simply brushes off criticism or rude comments, very sure of herself and her place in the school. She prefers hanging around guys to most girls, and almost always has a boyfriend on her arm.

I've been around for a long, long year...
History:
As the children of very wealthy parents, both Joanna Gallagan and Edward Delcott were sent to the academy in Florence. They met a few times during their school years, but had never become friends or lovers. Joanna was one who never broke the rules, so the thought of befriending one of the boys had never even entered her mind. The two did not have to do much to make the marriage work. After becoming engaged, they found they had a lot in common, and became good friends, though neither had any interest in the other when it came to love.
It was of great shame to Joanna that she bore Edward seven daughters. She loved her daughters dearly, and had always wanted a daughter to nurture into lady-hood, but Edward needed a male heir, and Joanna didn't seem able to provide him one. Edward was not bothered, and delighted in raising his seven children, planning on handing his fortune over to his eldest daughter's husband.
As the seventh child, Blake received very little attention from her parents once she passed baby-hood. When she could walk, talk, and go to the bathroom, all on her own, they stopped paying her much notice. Joanna tried to teach Blake proper etiquette and the like, but it was not such a big deal that she be perfect or even satisfactory. As long as Elaina was perfect, and Jolie and Jackie close behind, Joanna was happy.
Left to her own devices much of the time, Blake would often be found in the streets, playing with the boys. She was the little black sheep of her town, frowned upon by her neighbors, and the topic of many of the wives rumors. Even as she got older and understood that hanging with the guys was frowned upon, she didn't stop. She loved playing in the streets and wrestling, and most of the guys liked having her around, especially as she grew and developed into a lovely young woman.
Like all of her sisters, Blake was sent to the prestigious academy in Florence. She'd always known she would be sent away. Apparently her whole point in life was to go off to school, marry a wealthy man, and bear him children... or so her mother had told her almost since birth. She knows that's the way of the world, and has accepted her lowly place, but she intends to have fun until her season comes and she is forced to marry. Her only hope is that perhaps there will be love in her marriage, which will make her duty much less painful.
