Eliza sat deep in the mess of flowers, trying to ignore the sounds coming from the other students, and the gypsies. She sat on a stone bench, a padof paper resting on her lap. In her right hand, she held a pen, the paper was blank. She was trying to write a letter home to her family about what had happened so far at this school, but, she could come up with nothing. She sighed, and rolled her head back, letting the wamr sunshine hit her neck. Her blonde hair was pulled back into a long braid, that rested on her shoulder. She wore a long, lose dress. It was short sleved, and was lilac colored. It was a v - neck cuted dress. Though it was cut like a v-neck, a piece of fabric covered her chest, it was white, matching colored lace lined the top of the white fabric. A pink ribbon wrapped at the end of the cut, it was only four inches long. Three layers of white, thin fabric ran to abut her ankles, so not much of the purple showed under that. It was beautiful and had belonged to Eliza's grandmother. She adored this dress. She then had something to write to her family.
'Dearest family,
I love it here, although, it is harder to live her day by day, knowing that the love of my life lays here, buried on the ground. I miss you very much. How are things at home?
Gypsies set their camp here not too long ago. Not to worry - I haven't encountered any, nor do I plan on it. I wouldn't risk getting myself in trouble.
I've made many friends, they were nice enough to offer me a bed beside them the night I discovered the...'cliques'. It's so pityful, they have girls here on scholarships. They don't like me, most likely because they heard of our riches.
I've noticed guys, but, not in that way. They just...stick out me more now then they have ever before. Probably because of my clique.
Don't worry, I'm doing fine. The classes are actually easy. I only have time to study at night, I can't wait until My brothers join me here. I love you.
Your loving daughter, Eliza.'
She leaned her headback again, only to see a first year's face right there. She gasped and stood up. He and his friends started to laugh as she did herself. She was still gasping when they started to leave. She smiled, and moved towards the more open part of the garden. She took another seat on a bench. The wind blew and caused her to drop her notebook. She bent doon to pick it up.
-OKAY. THE DRESS THAT I DESCRIBED WAS FROM TITANIC. ROFL. SO CREDIT FOR MAKING THE DRESS TITANIC COSTUME MAKERS. XDDD-

ooc: I love this song XD And that movie. (=
The garden wasn't particularly his favorite place to be and it was only on rare occasion that he traveled here, or at least when he had a lady on his arm. Today, though, Kurtis Lowe walked quietly through the garden, a school book gently tucked under his arm for when he decided to sit under some tree, reading until he dozed under the warm sun that had finally graced their presence after what had seemed like days of rain. The ground was still damp where he walked, but already the fresh blades of grass were greener, drier. The pure beauty of the day made his already cloudy temper a bit calmer, and he closed his blue-grey eyes for a moment as he walked along the garden's path, enjoying the warmth of the sun's rays as much as the green things that grew from the ground. He reached up to itch his nose, looking about him, not at all surprised by the numbers of students that had decided to enjoy their free Saturday afternoon. Boys chased each other across the grass, girls sitting on benches or on the ground, their skirts covering their legs and flowing out around them like a large cloud, almost making them look like floating flowers themselves. They watched the boys in fascination, none of them sure why they weren't allowed to talk to them, still far too young to understand the bliss of love. Of feeling one's skin against yours in the "unlawful" choice of enjoying a woman's touch against your bare skin under the light of the silver moon. A shudder passed through his body as he attempted to fight off the memories of that night with Cicily Jaden Stone. His eyes strayed to the dock, attempting to seek out the place where they laid together, silent until the moment was broken. That single moment of them together, which both wished they could wipe from their memories, had been life changing for Mister Kurtis Lowe... The young man ran a hand down his face as he walked, alone in his own little world despite the fact that so many others were around him, enjoying the sun and the weather as much as he.
He turned his course so he began to walk across the grass toward a bench not far from one of the most illegal things on the planet. A woman. An unmarried one, at that, his age, that was beautiful and even within his league. After he left he handsome eyes, he believed his status only rose on the social ladder as he had joined The Elite. Kurt cracked his knuckles as he walked, watching the sixteen year old Pretty Face for a moment before averting his gaze toward the bench she had to sit at, deciding it would be a safe enough distance from her that he wouldn't be called to the headmaster's office for bad behavior. Honestly though, he thought, amusedly, how do they expect seventeen, eighteen year-old-guys to not want a beautiful flower such as that? So tempting... so alluring? They must be out of their minds. He smirked lightly, so lost in his thoughts that he hadn't noticed that she had perched on his place of destination. He stopped for a moment, cast a swift glance to the school behind him which stared down imposingly, its glass windows reflecting the sunlight, making it look almost angry. He was thankful for the high brick walls that surrounded them, keeping them mostly from view. The wind picked up as he turned his gaze back to Eliza Bennet, realizing who she was now that he had come close enough. She hadn't made herself a pretty face for longest time, he recalled, thinking of her years as a Floater of this school. He didn't know her story very well, though he wouldn't mind getting to know it. Silently, he pulled a flower from a nearby bed, his fingers gently stroking the blood red petals. Then, he continued his walk toward her, with more purpose now, his free hand tucked gently into the pocket of his black trousers.
The anger he had had at the very beginning of his walk was gone now, vanished from his mind. He was only in bliss under the sun, and he bent down, beating her to the fallen journal, looking up at her with twinkling blue eyes. "Is this yours, Miss Bennet?" He asked, handing it up to her, the flower he'd picked now carefully tucked into its pages. God. He loved magic. "Do you mind if I sit?" He asked, motioning with his own book now, to the place on the bench beside her.

Ba dum
The rose bushes rustled softly as if a creature moved about the thorned vines. A few dead rose petals fell to the ground, making the rustles sound sinister. Even though it could just be a breeze passing, it would be enough to make the skittish flee the garden. Not many heads turned to the sound though. Mostly because they were busy with running, playing, or writing little letters to Mommy and Daddy.
Ba dum
A full dark red rose was plucked from it's place, now held in the pale hands of the creature.
Well, actually... It was held in the hands of a young woman. But this woman was close enough to a creature.
Melody was crouched in the rose bushes, quite a few scrapes and small bleeding cuts on her arms and face. The dark blue dress she was wearing engulfed the blood drops, making them barely invisible. Her dress happened to be a hand-me-down from her mother and it was rather worn out. It was roughly (and crookedly) cut to reach mid shin, and was tightly strapped to her shoulders. A small light brown basket was sitting next to her knees, filled with at least five different colored roses. The dark red rose was dropped carelessly into the basket, adding to the mixed colors. "~Run and catch. Run and catch..~" Her voice echoed through the plant life, making the leaves quiver. Mel picked yet another rose, pricking her finger. Her finger stung for a moment and she glared at it. Then returned to picking flowers. "~The lamb is caught in the black~berry patch.~ She stopped, looked up at the direction of....West, maybe? Not that is matters..
Melody crawled in the direction of the close voices, thorns snagging her hair every now and then. She pulled the tangled vines apart, her cat like eyes peering out. Two people. A male and female.
Why does the word 'twitterpated' come to mind?
The young woman laughed softly, watching the 'couple'. Wouldn't this be fun to intrude on with a little bit of magic? Hmmm. What to cast...
"Arachnid of fraus , exsisto existo." She said under her breath. Were words required? Not really, no. But it sound more mysterious, yes?
A spider the size of her fist skittered out from the thicket, going full speed at the bench. It was a cute little thing, all fuzzy and red. It would be sad to watch it be squished. Mel got comfortable, pushing the thorns back from her. Now it's time to... Sit back.. Relax... And enjoy the entertainment~!
((It's rather hard to TYPE the Jaws theme.
-Sulk- I suckkk......))

Eliza didn't notice him walkover, or, even hear his voice when she did. He was...gorgeous. He took her breath away. It took her a second to catch back on to reality. She blushed slightly, nodding only. She knew she wasn't supposed to talk to the boys, but, she was so tempted. She slightly blushed and smiled. Eliza felt her cheeks turn a even deeper red when she saw him slip the flower between the pages. He even dared to touch her hand. This boy obviously drove her mad. She bit her lip to keep herself from saying something stupid that would get her in trouble. Not only for socializing-wanting-a boy at the school, but, saying something dirty and un-lady like.
Eliza slowly sat down on the bench, her eyes never leaving Kurtis’. She had heard of him before, and may have even danced with him in a class or at a ball, but, she couldn’t remember. She just couldn’t place a finger on it. Was he a friend of her previous lover? Was he the one who comforted her at the funeral? Now, this was going to keep her up all night worrying about it. She wanted to think of something to say. But she couldn’t. She soon had a reason.
Eliza was about to invite him to sit with her, but, she noticed a red dot, at a speed that was almost impossible, moving towards the bench. She stood up, screeching. “What is that? Kill it! Get it away from me!” She yelled, automatically clinging to Kurtis as if her life depending on it. When the spider was gone, she unlatched herself from him, clearing her throat. “Excuse me.” Her voice was cracking from trying not to laugh at her own foolishness, but, also dry from screaming. “Please, sit.” They sat silent for a moment, before she busted out laughing. She tried to ignore the stares coming from first years. She blushed again. “Sorry, I’m not very lady -like.”

Kurtis smiled gently at her blush, the sun just barely catching his white teeth, making them flash. His blue eyes still sparkled, amused that she didn't speak. She was one of those Pretty Face girls, he knew that from his days as a Handsome Eye... But most of them weren't afraid to speak to men at the school, were they? He knew they were generally rule followers, but they loved the attention... It confused him slightly, trying to remember more than just her name- Ah! She was the one with the lover... The boy that had gone off to war and died. Mentally, he shook his head, feeling pity for her that he almost wished he didn't feel. Now that that other boy was out of the picture then she was fair game... Ah, Kurtis, if only you knew how to treat girls well. Generally, he did. The careful silence that was held between the two was suddenly broken by her shrill scream, and Kurtis jumped back, more taken aback by her outburst than by the red spider that was moving closer to them at a dangerously fast speed. His eyes narrowed slightly, and he looked at her. "May I borrow this?" Without waiting for a response, he scooped up the spider with her notebook, carefully carrying it toward a flower bed on the other side of the path, letting it rest on the green leaves of a flower to warm itself. Strangely enough, Kurtis wasn't one to kill a totally innocent insect... Quickly, he returned to the girl's side, handing her the notebook back with a wry smile. "Sorry 'bout that," he said, shrugging his shoulders slightly.
Kurtis would honestly never understand why a woman should scream so at the sight of a bug. It was, after all, only a harmless six-legged insect. It wasn't its fault that every one hated them and that women fainted from the mere sight of their hairy bodies. He had always found them fascinating... Oddly enough. They were so agile and spun beautiful webs... It was as if they held magic inside of them- where that fine white silk came from he didn't know. And so as to not destroy the magic that he saw in them, he wasn't about to kill one and look inside of it. But in any case, he didn't mind being the hero for this beautiful Eliza Bennet- no, he didn't mind it at all. He enjoyed it actually, enjoyed women wooing over him, caring for him, loving him. It was just a daily part of life- and possibly his past as a Handsome Eye. But these days he was an Elite- and the leader for that matter. He cracked his knuckles, glancing at her as she began her laughter, and for a moment she was having a break down that the spider was still alive.
But she told him to sit, and he did so, reclining onto the bench, his fingers knit together so that they created a cradle for his head. He looked over at her from the corner of his eye, smiling slightly. He had yet to spot the girl in the bushes. "You seem quite lady-like to me," he said gently, shrugging. "My little sister is terrified of toads, she responds in much the same way when she sees one." He smirked slightly at the memory, and then sat up straighter. "I'm Kurtis Lowe, by the way, I don't know if you knew that or not..." His smile never faded as he announced. "And you are the beautiful Eliza Bennet, are you not?"

((Melody's leaving the scene because I can't seem to find the urge to play her anymore. =/ At least not right now. ))
Melody sighed, watching the spider be put to the side. Guess that didn't make as she had wanted. Although it made the other female make quite a scene, it hadn't been as amusing as she had planned. She had gotten enough roses anyway. Pulling herself out, she kept a blank face. Once her roses were in hand, she softly walked away, leaving small foot prints in the grass. Passing the spider, she thwacked it to the ground, disabling the illusion as it hit the ground. Worthless. It had been a waste of magick. Frowning, she took a pink rose from the basket, twirling it in front of her face. The smell filled her, making her happier. Well, today wasn't all bad. She sighed, leaving the garden.

Eliza smiled and nodded, "I am. I know it seems crazy but-" She stopped when she saw a teacher come around a bushy corner. Shit. She quickly stood, grabbing his hand. His was so much bigger...much more muscular and manly than her small, pale...womanly hand. She paused for a moment, it was so weird to have a man holding her hand other than her father. Eliza quickly caught back on before the teacher spotted the two's faces. She hurried them deep into the maze. She was certain that they'd get lost-that was something she had hoped for. She wanted to spend time with him. Eliza hated to admit it, but, she was atracted to this boy. Not like, a 'oh, let's get married' kind of way, more like 'i'd very much like to taste your lips.' way.
Scents of flowers, trees, and freshly cut grass filled Eliza's nose as she moved deeper and deeper into the maze. You would have guessed if you were from another time, that it would get darker and foggy as they went into the maze, but, she could have sworn it got brighter and blue as they moved. She still held his hand, knowing it. She would have forgotten, but, holding a hand was some-what new to her. He might have forgot about it, but, she'd have to be holding his for days to get use to it.
once they reached what Eliza thought to be the middle of the maze, she stopped. She smiled, "Better." She smiled, taking her braid out. Her now wavy from wearing the braid all night. She flipped her head so her hair was resting on her back and nothing but her dress was covering her chest. Her long chained necklace had 'accidentally' had fallen into her dress. She slowly traced down the chain to grab the heart shaped golden figure.
She let go of his hand, and move to the other side of the opening. Bushes of blood red roses lined the tall green bushes, bringing life to the opening. A large grey stone fountainwas in the center of the cleared land. "So, I'm very lady-like, in your eyes?" She was already flirting with him. This girl was sad. Very, very, sad.

He could only have been back at her side for seconds when the teacher walked around the side wall and he was pulled deeper into the maze. Not that he minded, he definitely enjoyed feeling his hand in hers, he hadn't held a girl's hand in such a long time. He didn't say anything though, and it wasn't something he was not used to... But it was so much smaller than his, so much more fragile- and soft, soft as a baby's bottom. Her hand was exactly as a woman's hand should be. The world was a blur as they darted down the different path ways, and he was soon completely lost in the tall brick walls, swallowed up by the gentle scent of roses and lilacs. Kurtis didn't mind when they began to slow down, their footsteps muffled by the soft grass of the inner maze, having wandered slightly off of the path. He was actually enjoying the feel of her hand in his, and the not-so-subtle way he was sure she was flirting with him. Even though he'd been in the handsome eyes, Kurt wasn't really used to women swooning over him, at least not so openly. He enjoyed it- a lot. He enjoyed pampering them and teasing them and flirting right back. But he enjoyed... tasting them the most. A laugh left his mouth at the thought, and he glanced to the sky, realizing that it must be noon now, for the sun was directly overhead in the beautiful clear, blue sky. It truly had gotten more beautiful as they got farther in.
The polite question about her name back at their original position seemed to be lost in the wind. Not that he minded, he enjoyed the fact that she'd run away with him- obviously wanting to spend more time with him. After all, if a girl didn't like you, why would they be chasing after you? Or at least pulling them after you into places where you could hide for hours from eyes that criticized your very way of living. His eyes followed her hand down the curve of her chest as she pulled the chain out of, what he was sure was, her cleavage. He tried not to smirk, but the way his lips twitched on his face let him know he'd failed completely and totally. She'd let go of his hand now though, and as he watched her carefully unbraid her hair, letting it fall down her back in pretty waves he realized how much of a rebel she really was. It was so unlike women to let their hair down. "If you don't mind," he said, chuckling lightly, "I'm going to sit." He leaned against a patch of brick wall that had now ivy growing up the side, sinking down to the soft earth, letting his long legs splay out in front of him. He watched the fountain, which was only a few feet in front of him, carefully thinking of how best to answer the question she'd presented him with.
"You are very lady-like," he said, a smile playing on his lips. "You have that... alluring quality that not all women possess," he said lightly, pulling a blade of grass out of the ground, positioning it between his two thumbs. With a bit of a smile, he brought his hands to his mouth, blowing gently on the grass, trying not to laugh at the silly sound it was making. She was lucky, to have caught him in such a good mood. Unless she did something really, really stupid he would be nothing but flirtatiously kind to her- would possibly steal a kiss and then forget all about her at his next temper tantrum tomorrow morning when breakfast wasn't cooked just right.

Eliza smiled as he sat, a bigger smile appeareed when he told her, once again, that she was lady-like. She crossed her arms, pacing slowly. "You're certian." She slowly walk over to him, kneelingin front of him, her face rather close to his, "not too, tempting." Stood up before there was time for a kiss. She laughed, and began to pace again. "I have no idea where we are, so, do not blame me if we're late for dinner or something."
Sure, she was like this now, but, the next time he saw her, she'd probably have already forgotten about him by then - there was too many guys in the school to think about. Not that Kurtis didn't stick out in the crowd, Eliza had her eyes already set on some toher guy, that most likely knew her face. Damion Serange. Eliza found him, very, very, atractive. She had saw him so many times, but, never talked to him. She couldn't, plus, her jobs was to make someone want her, not them make her want them more than they want her.
"I'll be honest," She laughed, looking over her shoulder at him, "The next time you see me, this day, will be fading away slowly. So make the best of it." She teased, "Or, are you too respectful?" She was almost certian that every guy that had a moment alone with a pretty face would love to take advantage of the moment. "So, what's it going to be, Mr. Lowe?" She giggled, sitting on the edge of the fountain.

Ah, good, so they were on the same page. They could be naughty today where no one would see them, hidden by the walls of ivy, the smell of flowers swirling between them, their voices hidden to others thanks to the babbling of the fountain sitting in the middle of the clearing, and tomorrow they could simply forget one another, both lost into the mass of a student body. It was at times like these that Kurtis Lowe was thankful for the headmistress's excessive-ness and need for lavish things. He didn't mind living his life through others- with their lavish styles and need for things both great and small. It was great for him- when he was trying to tempt a woman into bed pleasuring him for a little while. He forced his face to remain blank of the smirk when he heard the gentle news that just made his day. It wasn't every day that a woman would so boldly pronounce that she would forget about you. "Oh no, ma'am," he said, grinning slightly, "I totally understand. I mean, after all- I am only the leader of the Elite, I could never interest you. Especially not someone who has their eyes on the likes of Damion Serange..." He looked at her slyly out of the corner of his eye, the smirk now firmly on his face. Maybe it would shock her that he knew so much about her- probably something that no one else knew... Kurtis just... had a way of knowing things so many other people didn't- things that their owner wanted kept secret.
As soon as he was sitting on the fountain's ledge Kurtis was up to his feet, responding to her dare for him to make the most of it. He crossed the small space between where he had just been seated to the fountain, placing his hands on either side of the stone bowls lips. She could tease him- pull his breath away as she got close enough to kiss and then whisk away before the opportunity had time to present itself- leaving her scent swirling against him, far more wonderful and powerful than that of the flowers that made him want to sneeze. So, who was to say that he couldn't tease her slightly. Who knew if he'd actually do anything...? He wasn't a Love Struck, after all. No, those silly fools didn't want love- they were as bad as the Studs when it came to stupidity and sex. No. Kurtis Lowe was not low enough to do that just yet. He did believe in abstinence- for the most part. After all, his father's threat to kick him out of the family was forever haunting him in his mind, in his dreams, following his every step into life. He wouldn't disrespect a woman like that- at least not a girl whose status was as high as a Pretty Face. He leaned forward though, his eyes dancing in the sunlight.
If he could have his way right now, he'd enchant her with the power he had. Rainbows and lights would dance around them, diamonds would suddenly glitter on her neck, a ball gown that she could never even dream of would suddenly unravel and drape itself upon her body. He would dance with her under the stars, he would spoil her to the point where she never wanted to go home... And when he got tired of her... When the magic that he saw in her eyes now vanished, when she became another dreadful doll, another morbid girl that was only here to become another mindless zombie- listening to everything society wished upon her- he would take it all back, send the magic away, make it only a distant memory. And then he'd find a new girl to play with. But he didn't know her well enough. Knew his clique, his followers would find him weak. So instead he leaned forward and gently brushed his lips against her jaw, keeping her trapped between him and the fountain.
"I don't know if I'm respectable or not, miss," he said lightly, gently dipping one hand into the cool water of the fountain, letting it swirl around his fingers, watching her for some sort of dare, some sort of response...

She gasped, snapping her head to face him, "You tell anyone and, I shall never for give you." She was almost angry with him for a moment, but, she was mainly embarassed. She was pointing a finger at him. All her emotions washed away when he pinned her against the fountain. She was shocked and frozen for the moment. She quickly changed her mood as she felt his lips caress her jawbone. She giggled. She had to hold on to his back to keep from falling into the water.
"But, I think you'd respect my wishes." She whispered in his ear, "I dare you to kiss me." When he didn't reacted, she quickly moved her face so his lips met hers. She moved agin so she could see over his shoulder once again and his head was partly on her shoulder. She giggled inspite herself. Oh how she loved being a pretty face, getting boy toys.

A Man Named... KURTIS LOWEKurtis laughed loudly at her shocked expression, shaking his head back and fourth. "Oh goodness, I've really frightened you, haven't I? The best is, it was only a guess, but now I really know." He rose his eyebrows, still failing in the one eyebrow raised department, and for a moment his mind flitted to Jon. With a shake of his head, he rid the image of his friend from his mind, and focused instead on the girl before him. "The only reason I'd tell someone is if you made me mad..." His shoulders fell up and down in a shrug, and he chose to not tell her how often that actually happened. If she was a good pretty face, she'd know. She would have kept up on the gossip and understood what kind of man Kurtis Lowe actually was. She obviously wasn't all she was cracked up to be, though, because here she was, pulling this dangerous boy deeper and deeper into the garden, thinking she was only teasing a young man, when in fact she was tempting the closest thing to the devil (except Toni Wilkes, of course). "So the only thing I can say to you, is don't make me mad," he said, voice gently, as soft as the breeze that blew through the maze, whispering through his hair and tugging on his jacket. He shed the heavy black dress coat, letting it drop in a messy pile in the grass, worries about grass stains far from his mind. Part of him was wondering what exactly her clique-mates would say about her acting like this in front of a man, she definitely had their cold side, but weren't they mostly supposed to be ice queens? Not this giggly little bubble of cute-ness...
Her dare threw him off more than anything. He hadn't planned to kiss her like that. He had planned that perhaps she kiss him, but he wouldn't be her toy all of the sudden. Oh no, no, no, no. Kurtis would not be anyone's toy. Especially not some silly little pretty face. Sure, they were good for the company, they (mostly) knew their manners... But... if they were going to flirt and dare like this.... Hm, maybe he could talk to Cel about this, if he got mad enough- and remembered this in his anger. Ah, she shouldn't give the devil such bait. Not such great power over her- or maybe she was too wrapped up in him to realize the errors of her ways. He kept his face calm as he watched her, denying her dare. If she wanted a kiss she'd have to get one herself- he wasn't going to get on the bad side of the Pretty Face leader- that girl had way too much power.
But then her lips were on his and he was free to do whatever he wanted, she'd made the first move and thrown herself into the lions den. He could do whatever the hell he wanted. He kept it to a gentle kiss though, for now, realizing why her head was moving, and deciding the be the man he was and pull her head back, rather forcefully, to keep her view blocked. "If you want to kiss me so badly, then why are you scared of getting caught?" He muttered, his lips moving against hers, having pulled away only slightly. His grey eyes danced slightly, amused by her wishes, by her wants, by her messed up priorities, and by the fact that she was so infatuated with someone else yet still wished to put her lips to his.

She didn't know why she felt the need to kiss him either. Maybe it was because she had just told her parents she didn't socialize with anyone that could get her in trouble, or maybe it was just the fact that she was a fool who hadn't been kissed in a long time, and just needed someone to fulfill her hunger. She was shocked when he asked her why she was looking to see if they would get caught. They were so deep in the maze, that getting caught was almost impossible. Someone would have to be looking for her or him - or maybe even both of them. "I'm not looking to see if we were going to get caught. I hadn't even thought of that until now." Going in to kiss him again, stopping herself, "It doesn't worry me still." She sat there for a moment like this, debating to kiss him or not. Her hunger was stronger than her will to follow the rules like the secret goody - goody she was. Eliza kissed him again.
She continued to kiss him, putting her hands on his check, pushing forcing him back, and standing up, her lips still locked to his. When she finally pulled back, she seemed confused for a minute, she didn't note what had come out of her mouth. "You don't have to do this if you don't want to." When she realized what she said, she knew she meant it. She stood inches from his body, her hands locked together behind her back to keep herself from touching him. Stupid tension to touch him. Stupid, stupid girl.
She didn't know if it had been hours, seconds, or minutes since she'd told him that, but, she was growing impatient, but, she knew she had to respect him and give him the time to make up his mind. She looked down at her dress, it was wet from when she pushed the two off the fountain and his hand had carried some water out with him, splashing her. She looked at his clothes, his jacket that he had taken off was slightly wet, but, his clothes were a tad less wet than her own. She looked back up at him, certain that he had made up his mind.
le ooc; it still sucks, but, it's better than the first on. -i hope-

A Man Named... KURTIS LOWEHe wasn't sure if he believed her or not. Surely she couldn't be caught making out with a boy- at least he was of her status and had plenty of money. He also had a bit of a family history with the place- his father being high up in the Handsome Eyes and all. But he really doubted the young girl to really know that, even really understand it. She obviously wasn't afraid of her leader, not the way she was kissing him, at least, and Kurtis wasn't sure if he liked that or not. He himself, had no one to fear, no higher power to be afraid of except his father. But his father would never have to find out about this. Not if Kurt had his way, at least... But he shrugged, not saying anything to her denial of what she was doing by looking over his shoulder. Then, unable to not know he pulled back to look at her, "So, tell me then. Why were you looking so intently over my shoulder?" He'd always been told by older men that it was rude to stare when kissing the opposite sex. He figured women followed that closer than the men did. Seems he was wrong about that, though.
Suddenly he was pushed up, her lips pressing against his again, and his hands hesitantly slid up into her wavy hair, allowing themselves to become tangled in the shimmery locks. He continued to kiss her, his lips not quite as hesitant as before, but he couldn't say he was absolutely enjoying it. He wasn't a love struck or a stud, but he happened to get quite a few women on his arms. He didn't say any of this to her, though. He wasn't a man whore, and he really didn't need people to think he was. When she pulled away, looking embarrassed, a grin spread across Mr. Lowe's lips. "I know I don't have to," he said. "I normally buy dinner first, though..." He did pull away, not actually enjoying the fact that he was going to kissing a woman the first time he met her- he normally liked pampering them. "So as to appear to not be taking advantage of you, shall we walk through the gardens?"
Twould be no chaperon with them to watch their every move, but at least they would be acting a bit more maturly... He stooped over to grab his jacket, shaking the dust off of it, and offering his arm to the young woman before him, smiling slightly. "My lady?" He asked, preparing to waltz her further into the maze, to view the flowers and birds that flew and nested in the large green shrubs. The sun was still high in the sky and they had plenty of time to enjoy the world alone, together before they forgot each other tomorrow.
