The sound of feet echoed in the dusty old ball room, a young woman in her dark blue dress strode to the middle of the room. As usual, the dress was cut off at her knees and had seen better days than most. Small red spots were dotted on the front, looking like blood droplets. Which they most likely were. She didn't wear any shoes and her feet appeared to be coated in light brown dirt. Not very attractive..
"Here, ghostie. Come on ouut." Mel's voice was low as she called out to the ghost that may or may not be there. Her face scrunched up. "Get your ectoplasmic self out of hiding!" She said louder, turning around to glare at the other wall. Liars, therre wasn't a ghost around here. Maybe the North wing is where it resided. Well, she was here already. Might as well hang out for a while.
Melody looked at the ball room doors, then pointed at a chair in the corner of the room. It screeched out to her feet, hurting her ears. "Stupid chair," she muttered as she sat down. Fwoooosh A cloud of dust bursted forth from the seat cushion, sending Melody into coughing fit. Curses flew from in between coughs, the chair falling backward as she stood up. Once she recovered, she narrowed her eyes at the piece of the furniture. "Ugh, go combust." Kicking the chair, and sending across the room loudly, Mel just sat down on the bare floor. Where was everyone? It's not fun to just sit around, alone. In a room. Were the walls getting closer?
Melody rubbed her neck, feeling like there wasn't enough air. Get over it, they aren't getting closer. It's all in your head. Or was it? Gah, stop it. Panic washed over her mind and she stood up quickly. "Air. Fresh." She whispered, starting to walk to the doors. Maybe it was he dust, usually she didn't freak out like this often. Or maybe the ghost was in there... Too late now, she was almost to the doors. ((I failll!!!!!!!!!!))

Sucking in a deep breath Alana shoved open the doors thoughtlessly. Her lungs deflated as she looked around the room, everything was so dusty there was no way that she would have been capable of inhaling deeply without having a spasm of coughing and choking.
The click of her feet against the tarnished wood floor provided some satisfaction as she glanced around the room savaging for nothing else but alone time. Much to the girl’s dismay though there was a surprise awaiting her glance, company.
Now, this person wasn’t just anyone but rather a wretch to the school. One of those cursed pulchritude. A bitter taste rose to her tongue as Alana glared at the girl in utter hatred.
This was supposed to be a time of relaxation for Alana, the sweet embrace of the silence with nothing to interrupt it but the substance of her own breath and the echo of her foot steps against the aged wood. No, instead this pest to society had to take apart in her time.
Alana was annoyed, very annoyed. You might even have taken it as her being outraged at this girl’s ignorance. Alana wasn’t a nobody such as this girl was, Alana was of something much more, she had a stature to uphold.
Tucking a strand of hair behind her ear, then brushing the wrinkles from the white dress, a perfection that only money could obtain Alana walked up to the girl back straight and staying steady. There was absolutely no way that this girl would get away with the rage she caused Alana.
Alana was the one making sure of this too. Whomever this person was, she was about to get a beating.
Walking across the floor, eyes set upon the dusty chair, worn dress, and ugly figure in the chair the stillness of the room interrupted by the heat in Alana’s face. This girl didn’t have much time to explain her purpose for being there, it was doubtful she had any. Alana had already thought this through. No turning back.
ooc:// i'm very sorry, it's a tad short but i was rushed due to olivia (my two and a half year old cousin) and not wanting my soul stolen from me. ELYSSA!

((S'all good, Nina. Your soul is kept with you! xDD))
Almost. To. Doors.
Melody's breath came in gasps as she nearly reached the doors.
Then another girl came into the room. She stopped breathing completely, not wanting her to know she had been afriad in here. Letting out silent and semi calm breaths, she glared at the girl. Who appeared to be mad at her for no reason whatsoever.
Ugh, a pretty face.
So many insults and snappy words rose to her mind. She stood up at full height, not bothering to smooth out her own dress as this haughty fool had. It wasn't going to do much anyway. This particular dress was not meant for looking good.
That came out wrong.
It was more of a running about sort of thing. Let's leave it at that. "Hello, whatchya coming in here for?" She asked in a snappish tone. This wretch now blocked her way of freedom. And that was not cool with her. It actually pissed her off some. She glared at the pretty face. A white dress that she would most likely never get dirty and perfectly brushed hair. It made her sick. Where was the fun in it? Does this girl have any life other than being a proper lady?! This dust that had clogged her throat was gone now, but it felt as if what she had really inhaled was the scent of rancid meat. It made her want to gag. Her pupils got small with annoyance. What right did Ms. Proper have to get angry with her for no reason?!
No. This had to be fixed.
Melody would send this girl back to the tidy place she came from. "I'm assuming you didn't come here to search for ghosts did you, miss?" She asked, suddenly putting on an innocent angelic face. Ahh, how she missed messing with people's minds. Note to self, find ways to mess with teachers more.
Or how to upset that groundskeeper more.
Either way, more fun for Mel!

Alana looked at the girl critically; really, she was asking what Alana was doing here? No, Alana wasn’t a teacher’s pet of any of that junk. She had much more power than this low life though. “You act like I’m going to get in trouble for being here.” She said snarling. Her eyes trying to penetrate the girl’s boldness, attempt to make her fearful of Alana. Make Alana be in power, which she adored. Now clicking her heals against the bottom of the floor a couple of times just to hear the noise of her presence Alana looked over this girl. Her eye glazed over as she saw the condition of the stranger’s gown rolling her eyes trying to be dismissive. Ghosts? Really, how immature was this girl. Alana spoke, her voice conceited and her eyes able to kill, “You know ghosts do not exist, I’m here for my own purpose. And no, it does not pertain to you.” She said standing in front of the door. The girl seemed uncomfortable here; just a tad jumpy wanting to leave and having the Alana guard the door must have been unpleasant. “What is your name anyways?” Alana spat looking at the girl curiously for just a moment before returning to her maddened face. No, Alana wasn’t actually upset but she was annoyed at the ignorance of the girl. She should have at least shown some respect to Alana and seemed proper no matter how filthy she really was. It was only proper, wasn’t it?
ooc:// that probably fails because i wrote it in three different segments, eh. i'll revise it in the morning. i'll probably be up before you anyhow. anddddd now to go to sleep. soooo tired.

Melody just smiled as the girl snapped and snarled at her. She was like an angry dog. Ahhh, supieriority complex, much?
Her reaction to ghosts was rather ignorant and uncalled for, though. Who said that people couldn't stay here after death. Not exactly here at this school, but...You know. Ick. She was seriously clicking her heels? That.... Was annoying.
The urge to shove her was overwhelming. She was standing in the door way on purpose. Dear god, this room was smaller. Her head started to throb, making everything louder and more irritating.
Now this girl was trying to ask her her name? Ahh, I see how it is. Mel sweeped into a over-glorified bow, hands brushing the floor. "My name does not pertain to you.” She said in a mock voice of her. Oooooh, that'll get her steaming. Once she straightened, she looked hard into this girl's eyes. Then put her hand on top of her head. "And please, stop acting like you're queen of the friggen' world." Mel smirked, taking her hand from this pretty face's head and flicking her nose, as if she were a mis-behaving dog. Nooow would be the time for another clique member or something to prance their happy way in. Looks like that wouldn't be happening soon though. I guess I'll have to suffer the brunt of this girly's rage.
((Sorry for the fail. I need food badly.))

Alana rolled her eyes looking over the girl; she was obviously annoyed by this room. Something had to be wrong with it or else she wouldn’t be in such a hurry to take her exit. Alana wasn’t that bad but she really felt like messing with the girl, she was rude and mouthy. Alana didn’t want to even put up with it at this point, the girl hadn’t seem to have a sense of personal space as she dared touch her head; Alana wasn’t going to let her get away with it either. Now, the flick on the nose that was uncalled for. Alana stared at the girl not even caring what her name was at this point. “So, you believe in ghosts do you?” she said, her arms triangle to place her hands gently on her hips, seemingly angry, and upset. As a mother would do upon punishing a young child, now it wasn’t Alana’s job to put up with annoying unloved children. Now, she was plotting though. No, Alana wouldn’t have gotten revenge now. This moment would have been pointless to waste her energy on. The girl needed to have the strenuous wait of revenge falling upon her at any moment for a long period of time. After, after she gets over then Alana would make her move. Make the girl suffer. And no, Alana wasn’t about to forget. Tugging her hair out of the ribbon Alana grinned to herself, she didn’t care about this person anymore, she was just an object to be ridiculed and punished. No one touched Alana without her permission. Well, without Alana already having something against you and getting revenge on the deed.

Melody narrowed her eyes at this girl in front of her. She could try to walk around her. But at this point, she'd probably get mauled. She looked rather pissed off at this point, hands on her hips. Two can play this game. She ran a hand through her hair, sending it cascading in front of her face. At this point, she was minorly angered. I thought I told her to try to lose the supieriority complex. she frowned, backing up.
"Yes, I believe in ghosts. And?" She said in a snappish tone. Something smelled fishy here. The wheels in her head reeled, planning out something to do should this girl do something against her. Okay, maybe the flicking on the nose was some too much, but she did deserve it. At least she didn't kick her or something. This girl had her hands on her hips like she was better than her in every way. So she had money~! Big deal. "Ooooh, whatchya gonna do? Hit me?" She scoffed, waving her hands. "Oh, save me~!, Save me~!. I'm so totally helpless against this...This fancy pants~!" She yelled, running around before returning to the girl.
"Do you really, really think you could hurt me?" She crossed her arms in front of her chest. "Honestly, just let me by. Okay? It might safe you some trouble." Relaxed, she started to walk past the girl. Hahaha, I win! She wouldn't stop her and then I'll be on my merry little way. Tralalalala. It's funny, because she actually seemed threatening for a while. But she is just a proper lady. Punches probably wouldn't be flying anytime soon.

Alana looked at her wearily unsure what to say about this strange girl. Really, ghosts? How pathetic could she possibly be? Alana understood the girl probably would out-do her in strength but there was no way Alana would allow her to tread on Alana with wit. And no, she was not going to stoop to such a low level of physical contact. “Are you really so childish you believe ghosts exist? Do you believe Saint Nicolas still comes down the chimney and fills your stockings with presents and goodies as well?” she smiled trying not to show her anger anymore. This girl wasn’t going to get the best of Alana, she wasn’t worth it. She was much too plain and aggressive. Dropping her hands from her hip as they swung loosely at the sides of her body, Alana was just trying to think up something. “Oh, if you’d like to be on your way you minus well.” Yes, it was a personality change but this girl, whomever she was really had begun to annoy Alana when all the longed for was some lone time. Watching her step by her Alana grinned at the idea, she’d wanted this. “At least I’m a lady.” She teased watching the girl go. Alana’s fingers waving to the girl playfully walking away, treating her as though they were friends, fat chance. Walking further into the room Alana began her entrance, everything about the empty room was serene but Alana was still livid about the girl. She had really ticked Alana off, now Alana would have to return the favor. It’s only fair to share, right?
ooc:// ewwww. it's terribly short but i ran out of things to say. XD i mean you can only elaborate so much.
